Single spans to 30 feet from one sleek headbox. Zipper-tracked, motorized, and built entirely in-house — no outsourced components, no supply chain surprises.
Most motorized screen systems on the market are assembled from third-party components — motors, tracks, and headboxes sourced from whoever had them in stock that quarter. If something goes wrong, you're making calls to three different vendors.
The PowerScreen is built differently. Every component — the headbox, the zipper retention system, the ball-bearing idlers, the powder coat finish — is proprietary to La Costa. We control the supply chain, which means we control the lead time, the quality, and the warranty.
When something goes wrong on a job, you call one number. A person answers.
"When the screen disappears into the wall, clients don't just see a product — they see what their backyard was always meant to be."

La Costa doesn't resell third-party fabric on the PowerScreen — Maverick is our own line, engineered to spec alongside the headbox and zipper system. It's the only fabric on this system, and it's what makes the 20-year warranty possible: we control the material, so we can stand behind it.
Five grades cover the full range from open-weave visibility to full blackout privacy, each available across a curated color line.
Entry grades in the line — solid everyday performance where maximum see-through matters most.
The volume grades — this is what most PowerScreen jobs ship with. Widest color range in the line.
Full Fabric Spec SheetThe tightest weave in the line — for clients who want zero visibility through the screen when closed.
Maverick is La Costa's proprietary motor and remote system, built and supported in-house. It's the standard motor on every PowerScreen, and the only one covered by our 20-year warranty.
For projects already built around a Somfy ecosystem — TaHoma, Control4, Crestron — the PowerScreen also supports Somfy RTS/io motors. Somfy hardware carries Somfy's own manufacturer warranty, not La Costa's 20-year Maverick warranty — confirm the current term with your rep before quoting.

This is the field reference. Rough opening requirements vary by headbox mounting method (surface vs. recessed) and whether side channels go into masonry, wood, or aluminum framing.
